A new modern look for Admin and Customer Portal

The Admin Portal and Customer Portal login pages have been redesigned as part of Splynx v5.1 to help providers highlight what is essentially important. They also receive new levels of customization and flexibility with minimal effort.

A new modern look for your ISP Portal

As we continue our ongoing efforts to improve customer self-service management and provide a modern and helpful experience, today we’re unveiling a visual refresh of the portal login page to better guide your customers through the information that truly matters.

It’s not just form but function, too. Our new Customer Portal sign-in page includes a cleaner layout, a unified login form, and an engaging right sidebar that can also be used for communication and promotional needs. This (right-sided) area can be easily customized directly from Splynx to match your brand’s visual identity.

How To: Change Customer Portal Appearance in Splynx

Modular architecture is one of Splynx’s key advantages, as you can manually install new modules, easily expanding your system’s capabilities. Basically, it’s like a sandbox. Speaking of Customer Portal, it is no exception here; the guide below shows how easy it is to customize the right sidebar of the login screen.

How do I set it up?

  1. Add a new module in Splynx’s Admin Panel. Go to Config → Integrations and click “Install module”.
  2. Then, create a new module with the Type set to “Add-on.” Configure Entry points attributes with settings as in the screenshot below; copy/paste this Code for later use and click the “Install” button.

  3. Enable “Entry points status for portal”.
Enable "Entry points status for portal"
  4. Upload any images or animations through Splynx’s File manager (Go to Config → System → File Manager), and after that, set them for the right sidebar of Customer Portal’s login screen by changing the source attribute of the image element in Code (‘/uploads/Test-picture.jpg’) to the path of your image.

Below are a few live examples showing transformation possibilities from the default UI to a fully branded ISP login page that displays correctly on any screen and device.

Admin and Customer Portal Login Redesign

This kind of customization not only improves user experience but also strengthens trust and brand recognition.

Have any special requirements and additional visual customization needs? You can use Site customization feature to configure and style the entire Admin and Customer Portal default view of your Splynx instance. In particular, can be changed/applied the Header, Footer, Custom CSS, and Custom JavaScript can be changed/applied for a global look. However, if you need to change just one element, like the login page style, without affecting the rest of the portal, the recommended approach is to use add‑on entry points.

As recently discussed in the Splynx forum, this lets you target only specific areas, such as hiding extra content, stripping down the login to a sleek form, or embedding it via iframe for seamless branding, all without altering global portal styles. Our client used this exact method to redesign their login screen, removing unnecessary elements and applying a fully branded style (see the screenshot below). This proves Splynx supports full customization, both globally and at the element level. And our support team is always one email away to help with any difficulties that may arise on your way.
