Splynx Integration with Netcash: Introducing the eMandate Feature

Simplifying recurring debit orders and reducing the workload for your accounting team—discover the latest updates to the Splynx integration with Netcash that you won’t want to miss.

We’re excited to announce a new update to the Splynx integration with Netcash: the addition of the eMandate feature. This enhancement simplifies payment collection for South African WISPs, providing a fully automated solution for handling recurring debit orders for existing and new customers. With eMandates, customers no longer need to make manual monthly payments, while providers benefit from a consistent cash flow without delays.

What is an eMandate?

An eMandate is a secure and efficient solution for businesses to authorize and collect recurring customer payments. It enables providers to automatically debit customers’ bank accounts for regular services, such as monthly internet subscriptions, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted payment processing.

With the Splynx integration, the new eMandate feature streamlines recurring payments for customers using Netcash Debit Orders (DO). This enhancement ensures timely payment collection, removes the need for manual processing, and helps customers avoid late fees by eliminating the hassle of remembering to pay each month.

Key Benefits of eMandates:

  1. Quick Setup and Time-Saving: Once customers authorize an eMandate, payments are automatically debited regularly, eliminating the need for reauthorization.
  2. Improved Customer Retention: Simplified payment processes help retain customers by reducing the effort required for recurring payments.
  3. Enhanced Security: PCI compliance safeguards customer data, builds trust, and mitigates risks.
  4. Reduced Administrative Costs: Automating payments minimizes costs associated with invoicing and following up on late payments.
  5. Simplified Accounting: A digital payment process streamlines tracking and reconciliation.
  6. Minimized Debts: Automatic debiting reduces the likelihood of missed or postponed payments.
  7. Stable Cash Flow: Providers receive timely payments, facilitating better financial planning.
  8. Customer Convenience: Customers enjoy uninterrupted service and the flexibility to cancel authorizations if needed.

How to Enable eMandates for Netcash Debit Orders

Setting up eMandates in Splynx is quick and easy. Follow these steps to configure eMandates and start processing recurring payments automatically:

Enable eMandates for Netcash Debit Orders

Enable eMandates in 5 easy steps:

  1. Activate eMandates in Partner Settings:
Go to Partner Settings, toggle on the eMandate feature, select the desired debit order batch days, and assign payment methods for each day.
  2. Prompt Customer to Sign the eMandate:
Customers who save their bank or credit card credentials in the Customer Portal under Netcash credentials will be prompted to sign or reject the eMandate. Ensure valid email and phone details are provided.
  3. Redirect to Netcash for eMandate Signing:
Upon clicking Sign, customers will be redirected to the Netcash platform to complete the signing process by:

    • Entering an OTP sent to their email/phone.
    • Providing contact and payment details.
    • Selecting a commencement date for debits and verifying all information.
  4. Finalize and Download the eMandate:
After confirming the agreement with a final OTP, customers can download the signed eMandate for their records.
  5. Update and Access Payment Credentials:
In Finance → Netcash Payment Credentials, click Get eMandate PDF to access the signed mandate. The system automatically updates customer payment credentials for recurring payments.
