This is the full recording of our recent live training where we walked through the latest features and improvements in Splynx v5.1. Led by Splynx CEO Alex Vishnyakov, the webinar covered practical tips on how to apply new tools and enhancements to streamline your day-to-day operations.
We also hosted an extended Q&A session, where Alex and the team answered real-time questions from ISPs across the globe – from mPSK and integrations to contract signing and communication features.
👉 As promised during the session, here’s the guide to customizing your customer portal login screen.
1. Have you got a prepopulated list of payment gateways, banks, merchants etc. for South Africa to enable payments when the customer is blocked?
Here is the DNS host list of South African financial institutions.
2. How is the multiple PSK configuration passed to the Cambium devices? Is there a cnMaestro integration?
Multiple PSK (mPSK) integration is currently supported for MikroTik and certain Ubiquiti devices, and Splynx is working on config guides for vendor-specific mPSK setups. Cambium and cnMaestro are not yet integrated natively, but future support is being considered depending on demand and available APIs.
3. Is there any plan to implement RadSec / Radius over SSL?
Yes, Splynx is aware of RadSec and the team is looking into it. However, there is no fixed timeline. Since it’s a feature within FreeRADIUS, technically it can be implemented as a configuration if needed on the user’s side.
4. Can we get customers to sign quotes/lead quotes?
Yes. Splynx has digital signatures that support quotes for leads in addition to customer / lead document signing. You can send a quote to a lead, and they can sign it directly via a secure one-time passcode. The signed document is saved and emailed to both parties.
5. (RadSec) This is a plugin / feature within FreeRadius – should be a config change?
Correct. As it’s part of FreeRADIUS, it can be enabled as a configuration on the server side. Splynx does not block its usage but does not yet offer a UI for managing RadSec natively.
6. Is Splynx able to share a template contract which can be amended so that our customers can sign via the Splynx system?
You can send your own Word or PDF version and we’ll help integrate it with variables for automatic filling and uploading into your Splynx instance.
7. Are you planning to have a section about Intranet clients and VLANs assigned to them, which you can link to the customer portal just as reference? Or NetBox integration for example?
Currently, no direct integration with NetBox exists, but more advanced VLAN management and tagging is on the roadmap. Splynx is working toward expanding CRM + networking info linkage in the portal.
8. Are you planning to integrate Vetro FiberMap or planning your own in the future?
Vetro FiberMap is not currently on the integration roadmap, but Splynx is working on its own GIS layer and topology enhancements to better support fiber deployments visually.
9. The mPSK, how does the SSID on Splynx link to the Access Points in the MDU? Do we set up the APs to connect to a PPPoE server (MikroTik Core Router)?
Yes, for mPSK to function correctly in MDUs, access points should be configured to authenticate via PPPoE or RADIUS, depending on the setup. Splynx passes configuration data to compatible routers/APs that support mPSK.
10. Is there a way to have an SSO for Ubiquiti APs via Splynx?
SSO for Ubiquiti APs is not supported natively at this time. However, it’s a frequent request, and Splynx is exploring options depending on what Ubiquiti supports via UniFi or UISP APIs.
11. When can we expect the router hardware integration for Ruijee Reyee devices?
This is on the roadmap, but there is no confirmed release date. The team is aware of growing interest and evaluating technical feasibility.
12. How can I change the format of full code on refill card?
This feature is available in the voucher configuration settings. You can modify the structure and length of the refill code format directly in the backend, or request help from support to customize it.
13. What is the best practice for managing multiple sites/services under the same company/entity that has a different primary contact per site?
Contact book is a planned new feature in v6.0 – ETA March 2026.
14. Have you planned to add the different sub account information in the invoice ? (To help reseller to check it ?)
Yes, there is a new separate invoice template for Main/Sub accounts.
15. What is the best practice to schedule internet plans price increases?
For now, the plans for upgrade should be duplicated, then a scheduled plan change needs to be created and correct date should be set to when the new plan will take affect.
16. Will a ticket be created if they send a WhatsApp?
In the near future once we integrate AI chatbot – Yes.
17. I see there is SSO available for Azure/Entra – is there a plan to do the same for GSuite?
Not currently – please log it as a feature request here.
18. Does Powerlynx integrate with Splynx?

19. Can Wati be integrated with Splynx?
Unfortunately, we are not integrating Wati to Splynx – we are constantly expanding our own integration.
20. Will the new Splynx Communication app receive the WhatsApp notifications?
We are working on a new allrounder communications app which will include WhatsApp & tickets.
21. How do we create new labels for tasks?
Labels for Tasks can be created under Config – System – Select tasks from the top right drop-down.
22. Is there a way to put Splynx into dark mode? For those who work at night.
Unfortunately, we do not have a dark mode in Splynx yet. We’re finalising a transition of our Splynx UI to vue.js and then bringing a dark mode. However, some of our customers reported using the ‘Dark Reader’ extension in Chrome / Firefox that works nicely for dark mode.
23. Is Viber going to be added in Splynx?
Not for now. Once WhatsApp is finished, we will focus on texting/SMS, then FB Messenger, then Telegram.
24. Any possibility for Microsoft integration for SSO and integration for mail system via Graph API in future?
Currently we don’t have plans for Microsoft SSO or Graph API, please log it as a feature request.
25. Is there a timeline for the new app release (for WhatsApp & ticketing push notifications)?
No ETA currently for the communication app, development on it just started.
